Leading organizations know the importance of having a human resource strategy aligned with the overall strategy of the organisation. However many organizations don't know if such alignment exists or even how to measure it.

An HR checkup is invaluable in quickly obtaining a realistic assessment of your organisation's HR processes and practice against your strategy and against best practice. The assessment will show:

  • If you have up to date human resource process, tools and systems in place
  • assess how well these are being practiced

Online Assessment Tools

If you have been asked to complete assessments as part of a process you are undertaking with Grafton Consulting Group or one of our clients the following links are provided to direct you to the correct testing sites.

For the following personality assessments there are no right or wrong answers, as there is no right or wrong personality. Therefore, please be as honest as possible when completing these. Try to complete any single assessment in one sitting and do it on your own in a quiet room with no major distractions. Please refer to the other information sent to you for more specific instructions about each assessment.

Please note: you will need to have your log-on and password for each separate assessment you have been asked to complete.

  • California Psychological Inventory (CPI) - This is a comprehensive personality questionnaire designed to assess different work styles and preferences. You will be asked to answer True or False to statements about your personal preferences and attitudes. This assessment has no time limit but takes approximately one hour.
  • Sales Preference Questionnaire (SPQ_GOLD) - This is a tool designed to assess your approach to different selling or self promotion situations. All roles potentially have an element of influencing and selling ideas to others and this assessment is interested in measuring any barriers to selling, relationship building and influencing people. This assessment has no time limit but it should take approximately 40 minutes.
  • NEO-PIR (NEO) - This is a personality questionnaire that asks about your preferences and attitudes to work and life. You will be are asked to respond 'Strongly disagree', 'Disagree', 'Neutral', 'Agree' or 'Strongly Agree' to 240 statements about your personal preferences and attitudes. There is no time limit but it takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
  • Occupational Personality Questionnaire (OPQ) - This personality questionnaire is designed to provide information on your typical behaviour within work and similar situations. There is no time limit, however it usually takes approximately 45 minutes to complete.
  • Motivation Questionnaire (MQ) - This questionnaire is designed to identify what sort of factors influence your motivation at work. There is no time limit, however it usually takes approximately 30 minutes to complete.
  • Personnel Reaction Blank (PRB) - This is a short personality questionnaire designed to assess your occupational preferences and your general views, experiences and work preferences. You will be asked to answer 'Like' or 'Dislike' and 'True' or 'False' to statements about your work preferences and attitudes. This assessment has no time limit but takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
