The Art of Change Awards
We have decided the time is right to take change out of the cupboard and shine the spotlight on those organisations, individuals and teams who have successfully driven change within their organisation. So we’re launching the inaugural Grafton – The Art of Change Awards. Change is a fact of life, we live and breathe it everyday and it’s time to acknowledge that change is positive - successful people proactively drive change and these awards are about celebrating exactly that.
Tell us your stories. We want to know what you did, why you needed to do it, how you did it and what’s different now you’ve done it. Don’t be shy, we want to hear about why you undertook your journey, the process you followed and how change has helped your organisation, your customers, and your people. The awards will culminate in an evening of celebration where we’ll recognise New Zealand's Change Champions.
Entries open on 7 February 2012 and will close on 2 March 2012. They will be accepted either by self-nomination or you can nominate an organisation, individual or team that you think deserves to be crowned New Zealand’s Change Champions:
- Driving Transformational Change – this category will recognise whole organisations or significant teams within organisations that have undergone a major organisational change e.g. implemented a significant change to their way of operating; rolled out a successful business system change; undergone a major culture change in their organisation; re-invented how they provide value and service to customers, driven a performance change, or created a new market for their product/service etc.
- Leading through Change – This category will recognise a leadership team (it doesn’t have to be the executive team) or individual within an organisation who have successfully led a significant change either in their own area or throughout the business.
We’ll also be looking to award a ‘special’ award to an individual or team who has done something extraordinary involving change.
